Popular Musician Dies Trying To Rescue Drowning Girlfriend

Popular Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Castro (a.k.a Theophilus Tagoe) is dead, according to Ghanaweb.

Castro, who hails from Takoradi, Ghana had gone on a boat cruise alongside his girlfriend and a close friend, Asamoah Gyan (who is a footballer for the Black Stars) when the unfortunate incident happened.

According to GhanaWeb, Castro's girlfriend who was reportedly not wearing a life jacket, suddenly fell into the river, which prompted Castro diving into the river in a bid to rescue her but ended up drowning with her at Aqua safari beach.

Castro's body and his girlfriend's are yet to be found but his ski has been found.
