It's enough to make you crawl back into bed.
Like the archetypal Chinese "tiger" mum, He Leishing calls himself "eagle dad".Frighteningly enthusiastic He Lieshing believes all out adventure is encouraging his tiny son's discipline, bravery and good education.
Before he made his son, nicknamed Duoduo, take flying lessons and pilot a plane over China, he forced the five-year-old to run naked in the snow.
And before that, the boy took part - aged four - in an international sailing competition and climbed the 3,770 metre high Mount Fuji in 15 hours.
Mr He who lives with his wife and two children in Nanjing, in China's Jiangsu province made the boy, whose real name is He Yide, take 20 days of flying lessons before piloting a fixed-wing aircraft over the Beijing Wildlife Zoo.
He made headlines a year earlier when he forced Duoduo to run naked in the snow and has enthusiastic plans for more adventures.
Next up is trekking through China's least-populated area, the north-western part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The journey will consist of walking, riding a bicycle and unicycle, and driving a car.
The pair will take off in October.
Mr He believes his style of parenting helps children become tough-minded and is taking off, at least in China.
"Gradually, the public has started to accept my education approach", he said.
